Cookie policy

Standby sets cookies only to keep you signed in and to connect your accounts safely. There are no advertising or tracking cookies anywhere on this site.

1The cookies we set#

Both are first-party and HTTP-only, so scripts can't read them; are marked Secure, so they only travel over HTTPS; and use SameSite=Lax, which stops them being sent with requests from other sites.

2Website analytics#

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, referring sites and approximate country and device type, so we know which pages are useful. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not track you across sites or build a profile of you. Visits are grouped using a short-lived identifier that is reset daily and can't be used to identify you.

4What we don't do#

  • No Google Analytics, and no analytics that use cookies.
  • No advertising or retargeting pixels — no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads tags.
  • No cross-site tracking, fingerprinting or session recording.
  • No third-party embeds that set cookies of their own. Fonts are served from our own domain, so font providers never see your visit.

5Controlling cookies#

Logging out deletes the session cookie. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; the only effect is that you will need to sign in again, and connecting Google or Instagram won't work while cookies are blocked. Questions go to pmventures.team@gmail.com.
